Quality EnPlus A1 Wood Pellets Available
ENplus Grade 1 (known as ENplus A1) wood pellets feature high energy density, low moisture (≤ 10%), and minimal ash residue (≤ 0.7%). They are the highest quality residential wood pellets made from untreated virgin wood.
Physical and Mechanical Properties
- Diameter: 6 mm – 8 mm (± 1 mm)
- Length: 3.15 mm to 40 mm
- Bulk Density: 600 – 750 kg/m³
- Mechanical Durability: ≥ 98.0% (resists breaking down into dust)
- Fines (Dust Content): ≤ 1.0% (for particles smaller than 3.15 mm) [1, 2, 3, 4]
Energy and Chemical Properties
- Net Calorific Value: 16.5 to 19.0 MJ/kg (approx. 4.6 to 5.3 kWh/kg)
- Moisture Content: ≤ 10%
- Ash Content: ≤ 0.7%
- Ash Softening Temperature: ≥ 1,200 °C
- Nitrogen Content: ≤ 0.3%
- Sulfur Content: ≤ 0.04%
